Water resistant and termite resistant

WPC frame
The matching frame is made in WPC rather than timber, so the water resistance runs through the whole assembly and not just the leaf.
Concealed hinge
A concealed hinge leaves no hardware on the face of the door, which is what the plain, frameless look depends on.

An interior door in this range is built around a WPC core or a solid MDF core, and the choice between them comes down to where the door has to work.
WPC is the water resistant option. The core does not take in water and is not eaten by termites, so the door holds up in a bathroom, a kitchen or a climate where the humidity stays high, and it does not need the protection a timber door does. That is why the range is specified in the Middle East, South East Asia and Africa, where both water and termites are part of the specification. A solid MDF core gives a denser door and better sound insulation, which suits bedrooms and rooms that need quiet.
The frame matters as much as the leaf. A WPC frame is supplied with the door, so the water resistance runs through the whole assembly, and frame profile sections such as the 100 to 260 mm range cover the wall thicknesses a project is likely to have.
The doors are supplied prehung in their frame, which shortens the work on site, and a concealed hinge keeps the face of the door plain. A smart lock with a fingerprint or code reader can be fitted where the project calls for it.
