A dish rack basket is the same pull-out idea turned to something specific: a basket with a rack that holds plates and bowls upright while they dry, over a tray that catches the water.
It is usually fitted in a base cabinet next to the sink, where wet dishes can go straight from the bowl. The drip tray is what makes it work in a cabinet rather than on a counter, because the water it collects has to be removable. Dividers hold the plates apart, and the tier count sets how much the cabinet holds.
The basket is stainless steel, selected against the internal cabinet width. Runners can be standard, soft-close or hydraulic.
