An exposed shower set mounts on the wall as it comes: the valve, the riser, the rain head and the hand shower are all visible, and nothing has to be opened up to fit them. That makes it the practical choice where an existing bathroom is being upgraded, or where the wall is already finished.
The valve body is solid brass with a ceramic cartridge, on 150 mm port centres, which is the common spacing for a wall-mounted mixer, so it usually lines up with the pipework already in place. The rain head comes in 8 in, 10 in and 12 in sizes, and the set can be specified with two or three outlets: rain head and hand shower, plus a bath spout or a waterfall outlet where one is wanted.
Finishes run from polished chrome through brushed nickel and brushed gold to matte black and gunmetal. Tell us the head size, the outlets, the finish and the market the set has to satisfy, and we will quote to that specification.
